NOTES-

Here on the south side of Lakeland April was colder than normal and slightly wetter than normal. This is the third month in a row with below normal temperature, following December 2006 and January 2007, which together were the warmest since the El Nino winter of 1982-1983.

The first half of the month temperature was much colder than normal, with precipitation above normal. The second half of the month saw near normal temperature and drier than normal as far as precipitation.
